How Long Does Colorbond Fence Last & Does Colorbond Fencing Rust?

One of the main reasons why colorbond fencing rusts is, prolonged contact with the garden soil can be problematic with for the maintenance of the colorbond fence. I have googled colorbond and can find lots of information, but am not sure if it is just myth or whether these are genuine problems:. (i) dents/scratches – and subsequent rusting of dents/scratches. How easily does it dent? would kicking a footy against the fence dent it? or would it need to be something heavier? could a large dog jumping at it cause dents/scratches? is rusting a problem once the fence is scratched or dented?.
